Release day!

Good news, good news! Good news, good news. Coyote Rain is out and available today! This is my first m/m release and the first of, I hope, many with Ellora’s Cave! I’ll be dropping in to chat on the Literary Nymphs chat list tonight, so stop by and say hello!

I feel a little overwhelmed and out of my league with this whole thing at the moment, but you know, we all have to start somewhere. There are some very supportive people helping me out, which is fantastic. I’m sure the butterflies will pass.

I hope.

Discussing… me!

I’ve set up a discussion group on Yahoo!Groups (I know, I know). If you’re interested, it’s here. I don’t anticipate it being high traffic, but you know, I’m good with that if the list happens to explode. I like to talk, that’s for sure.

Coyote Rain comes out on Wednesday of this week. I’m both nervous and excited. I s’pect that’s normal, so I’ll just jitter contently in my corner.

News and such.

(Trying this again, since WP ate the first version)

Hey look, it’s been less than a month since my last update. I’m getting better. A little, anyway.

So, Coyote Rain comes out next week. I’m excited to see how it does, and reaction to it. Looking forward to seeing if it starts me off where I want to be. I’ve gotten a few comments about people being eager to read it, so I have my fingers crossed.

I’m starting to look at promotional things too. Maybe doing a couple chats in the next few weeks, to try to get my name out there a little more. I’m pretty sure that, right now, it’s me and the tumbleweeds partying around here.

I finally turned in my contest manuscript to Liquid Silver Books, so we’ll see how that goes too. I realized when I was going through a final edit, that there are no female characters in that story. None. They exist in the world? They just … aren’t on the page. Which is weird, even for me. I mean, I like my guys, don’t get me wrong, but usually I have a heroine or a friend or something. Not this time.

I’m also thinking on newsletters and mailing lists, but that might keep until I’ve got some readers. 🙂
